The new nursing facility for the elderly in Douai, financed by Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring, has opened its doors.

As part of the public/private partnership (PPP) won in 2009, Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring, along with Crédit Agricole Northern France regional bank and the Rabot Dutilleul group (1), financed the construction of a new nursing facility for dependent elderly people, Marceline Desbordes Calmore, located in Douai.

The launch of the new nursing facility on 7 December 2011 marked the conclusion of the first phase of the project: the creation of a new residence for the elderly. The residence, which has a reception capacity for 240 elderly people and covers a total surface area of 12,800m2, is part and parcel of the geriatric network of the Douai hospital centre and offers a quality living environment to residents as well as efficient facilities to health personnel.

The PPP’s loan arrangement was established over 30 years and comprises the servicing and maintenance of the retirement home right up to the expiry of the contract.

(1) Specialised in property development, the Rabot Dutilleul group is among the top 10 French construction companies. Its two core operations are construction and general contracting, as well as property development via its subsidiary NACARAT.
