In its strategic financing policies, as well as in its social and environmental initiatives, CAL&F is a socially responsible company both internally and externally.

Social responsability initiative

As is the case across the Crédit Agricole Group, CAL&F has initiated the FReD social and environmental responsibility process. The process is implemented through a 15-action programme. Client recognition, fraud control, e-invoicing, reduction in Co2 emissions due to transportation or cell phone recycling are all part of the initiative.


Strengthening Human Resources

Training continues to be a priority for CAL&F, which makes a yearly investment of nearly 6% of its wage bill in skill development. In addition to management training, highway risk prevention and cross knowledge of leasing and factoring, CAL&F is developing the internationalization of its core functions. In 2013, the second class of management assistant diploma training course was launched, in partnership with the Cnam**. As a signatory to the DIversity Charter,  CAL&F has for several years now been also promoting gender equality within its workforce, as well as the employment of people with disabilities.


Supporting associations

CAL&F is a partner of the "Nos quartiers ont des talents" (our neighbourhoods have talents) association and encourages its employees to mentor young graduates from disadvantaged neighbourhoods. This desire to encourage civic involvement in employees is also demonstrated by participation in the Race Against Hunger, oraganised by the NGO Action Against Hunger, and the Parisienne race, which supports breast cancer research. Finally, CAL&F, alongside LCL, is a partner of Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque which finances operations, and of Sylvain, the Crédit Agricole S.A. employees’ association, which fights against orphan diseases.
